About Us

We are the Buis's. We purchased Buis Cottage back in 2005 because we had a dream. Our dream was to obtain a nice cottage that we could rent out to great people like yourself.
The cottage has two bedrooms that sleep 6 people with 1 queen in the master bedroom and 2 doubles in the second bedroom. All linen is supplied because we feel a cottage without linen is like a car without wheels. Who would want to drive it? The living room has a tv and dvd player with full cable. We have fully equipped the kitchen for your cooking enjoyment. The cottage's bathroom is a full one, none of that half bathroom stuff for us. We also graciously supply the hand towels because a guest with wet hands is an unhappy guest. No more need to b.y.o.h.t.(bring your own hand towels). The deck out back has a lovely set of chairs and a table. There is a wonderful dock out in Silver Lake.
We chose this cottage because it is only a 10 minute walk to the Lake Erie Beach and a 2 minute walk to downtown Port Dover.
